This week we have been learning about water in the solid form. Last week our class voted to begin our research on icebergs and glaciers first in our quest to discover Water, Water Everywhere. Today we did an activity that helped us to understand how snow merges together to form large sheets of ice. We used marshmallows to represent snow. They were very excited to relate the real life, hands-on experiment with what we have been learning so far. They were even more excited to eat the marshmallows =-)
